I should have written this letter years ago to thank you for the

Dear Mr Flahavan,
May I add once again how much we enjoy Flahavan's Progress Oatlets which we eat every day winter and summer. It's such a treat when you produce the special price pack and thank you so much for this special offer. The greatest gift about your porridge is that it cooks so quickly. I love it. In fact sometimes I even have it twice a day. Thanking you.

I just want to congratulate you people on your lovely healthy product Crunchy Oats. It is simply wonderful and nice as I has to buy imported products before this. But yours is so much better. I have told quiet a few people about it as we do not value our own Irish products as we should.

Your letters relating to 'Flahavan's Hi8 Muesli'
Good morning Sir or Madam,
I wanted to write a short correspondence to inform you on how much my
wife enjoyed your product. We went on holiday in Waterford, Ireland in
the beginning of June this year. During our trip we shopped at a local
Londis store to purchase cereal and tried your product. Allow me to
boast about your product for a moment. My wife and I have travelled
extensively in Switzerland, Austria and Scandinavia. We have bought and
tasted many a Muesli product. Your Hi8 Muesli is without a question the
best! So good for you and keep up the good work…..

Oats are rich in biotin – a member of the B vitamin complex. Dubbed the
perfect skin food by nutritionists, it is mainly synthesised by bacteria
in your gut and on;y found in some foods, so people on antibiotics, or
with irritable bowel syndrome may be low in biotin. A deficiency of this
vitamin may also cause dermatitis. Oats are also a rich source of
calcium, magnesium and potassium.

that’s no surprise. If you find other oats make your porridge too

Oats release healthy carbohydrates into the body slowly, reducing the
need to snack before lunch. They are also linked to reducing heart
disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity and other diseases because most of
the wholegrains are maintained during processing. Porridge made with
milk is especially good for children as it is a good source of calcium.
And eating a good breakfast aids concentration at school.

Porridge is a powerful aphrodisiac, which might explain the phrase
“getting your oats”. The oats help release testosterone, giving lustful
thoughts and lots of pleasure. Tests reveal that its biggest effect is
on men, who report stronger erections and a bigger sex drive.

It may seem unglamorous, but porridge is probably far tastier that you
remember from your school days and is an extremely effective hangover
cure. This is because oats and oat-based cereals are neutralising to the
acidity levels in your body and actually absorb toxins. Porridge is also
easy to digest so your body can channel all its resources into healing
itself rather than working hard to digest food.

Oats Anti-cancer, anti-stress, lower cholesterol, energy-boosting
Oats are high in protein, iron and soluble fibre. They lower blood
cholesterol, ease stress and soothe tired nerves. A couple of bowls of
oat bran or three bowls of oatmeal a day can depress cholesterol be 20pc
or more.
Oats also stabilise blood sugar, have oestogenic and antioxidant
activity and contain compounds that may combat nicotine cravings and
have antidepressant powers.
They have an anti-inflammatory effect on certain skin problems like
eczema and psoriasis: and are high in a chemical that dampens the
activation of certain viruses and cancer-causing chemicals in the
intestinal tract.
Oats are rich in nutrients: the antioxidant vitamin E, which protects
the body from damaging free radicals, the B-complex vitamins, vital for
a healthy nervous system, as well as calcium for healthy bones, and
magnesium and potassium. They are also a reasonable good source of
protein, need for the repair and renewal of tissues.
