Flahavan’s select the finest oats from a panel of carefully selected growers. These oats are dried and cleaned in preparation for milling. The indigestible outer shell is removed leaving the oat kernel, which is chopped, steamed and then rolled to make oatlets.

Flahavan’s Porridge oats with 20% added bran has been made by selection of the finest porridge oats and then adding a 20% mix of oatbran and wheatbran to further enrich the dietary fibre levels.

Flahavan’s Porridge oats with 20% added bran packs have recently been given a new look. The new pack highlights the natural goodness of oats and the ‘reducing cholesterol’ message.
