Dark Chocolate & Chilli Energy Balls

Spicy and sweet, these energy balls are sure to keep you fuelled up with lots of oaty energy!

Serves 12-14 energy balls|Takes 15 mins

INGREDIENTS:

2/5 cups of pitted dates

cup of Flahavan’s Rolled Oats

3 tablespoons of  Milled Seeds

5 tbsp. of 70% dark chocolate, chopped

½ level teaspoon of cayenne pepper

1-2 teaspoons of water (if needed)

METHOD:

Put all the dates into a food processor and pulse until they form a paste.

Add the remaining ingredients and blend until the mixture starts to clump together, scraping down the sides to re-distribute the mixture once or twice.

Add a little water if the mixture is too crumbly.

Divide the mixture into 12 and roll into balls and pop into the fridge for an hour.

Store in an airtight/sealed container for up to a week, if they last that long!
